TransyBike invites you to an amazing Bike & Boat Day Tour in Muntii Apuseni offering breathtaking views and complete relaxation. Tarnita accumulation lake is situated between Rasca, Marisel and Gilau villages, at 15 km from Cluj-Napoca city. Tarnita lake has a length of over 8 km and a maximum depth of over 70 meter and it is one of the most appreciated touristic areas from Cluj county. The water from the Tarnita lake is brought by Somesul Cald River. The dam is 97 m high and it was compleded in 1974.

ITINERARY

Transfer Cluj Napoca – Marisel 45 min. Cycling Marisel – Lake Tarnita 18 km

We will start our day with an approximately 45 min. transfer to the starting point which is situated 50 km to Cluj. After bike fitting we will start our descent on a smooth downhill. Our way follows the mountain ridge offering us a stunning view of Gilau Mountains. We will have one section of steeper downhill but nothing complicated. Once we arrive to the lake we will serve a great lunch of traditional products and finish our day with a great lunch of traditional products and finish our day with a great boating on Tarnita Lake.
